Launching When Its Done (in a while)

The Paladin exosuit has been in development for 3 years, racking up about 5,000 hours of design, manufacturing, and testing. I set out to complete this project to prove to myself and others that any normal person can do something amazing, given enough time. I figure that I may be the only person in the world who's developing a full-body heavyweight pneumatic exoskeleton, and I can see why nobody else is trying it out. As of now, the suit has some baseline flaws even after 3 years that prevents it from reaching its full potential, but I plan to fix these problems with the mk2 suit, set to begin manufacturing in early July, 2023.
All images on this website are of mk1, which weighs in at about 250 pounds, and for strength, can consistently curl 40 pounds per arm until the batteries die. mk1 is very much a first prototype, and is made up of constant revisions and change of plans mid-way through, so if it looks scrappy, that's mostly why. There are some significant flaws with this design, namely:
- The suit will not walk. The legs were built first when I still had no idea what I was doing, making them comparatively extremely weak compared to the upper body.
- The controls are jittery, i.e. precision is limited. Largely due to bad control design.
- Center of gravity is very far back.
- Underpowered. The suit can only handle constant movement when set at 30 psi. A much higher CFM is required to get any sort of agility and fast-paced movement out of it.
- Fits weirdly / pinches. Also, it's a pain to try to get into.
Mk2 is planned to wipe out all of these issues and perform at 4x the power, boasting up to 2,000 pounds of force per pneumatic cylinder in its legs. Definitely an upgrade. General ergonomics and design is going to be completely reworked. The hope is to get the suit to be able to at least jog, which as I've seen it, has not been done before with these types of large-scale exoskeletons. My spirit will never falter and this will get done.
